Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Launches “Cleanliness is Service” Door-to-Door Awareness Drive

Lucknow: Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University organized a door-to-door awareness program on September 22 under the “Swachhta Hi Seva” (Cleanliness is Service) campaign, spearheaded by the university’s sanitation department. The initiative was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Shankar Verma, the in-charge of sanitation.

During the program, the university’s cleaning staff and associated teams visited homes across the campus and nearby areas, educating residents about the importance of cleanliness. They encouraged everyone to maintain hygiene in their homes, neighborhoods, and public spaces. Each household was reminded that cleanliness is not only vital for personal health but also crucial for the overall development and prosperity of society.

Through this door-to-door campaign, the university aimed to spread a widespread message about the significance of hygiene and motivate citizens to actively participate in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission). University staff, sanitation workers, and local residents actively participated, making the event a community-driven effort toward a cleaner and healthier environment.
